Celaya, Gto., April 9, 2019.- On Monday 8th, they met at the Janicho headquarters of the Celaya-Salvatierra Campus, university authorities at the central level and the Celaya-Salvatierra Campus, as well as the Salvatierra City Council, with the purpose of preparing the venue for the opening of the next cycle. School.

The Janicho headquarters of the UG is designed to detonate the growth and development of the region, through the formation of professional units that contribute to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of that area and influence the development through the innovation, entrepreneurship, the generation of jobs for others and their participation in decision-making. It is the result of the collaborative work that will allow a long-range project to materialize and begin its first phase with the educational programs of nursing and agribusiness.

Dr. Jorge Alberto Romero Hidalgo, Secretary of Management and Development, of the University of Guanajuato, in the company of Eloy Juárez, Director of infrastructure and university services and the rector of the Campus, Dr. Graciela Ma. De la Luz Ruiz Aguilar, analyzed each of the aspects that are necessary to start the school cycle within the parameters of functionality, safety, material and human equipment that allows the educational programs are taught without any mistimes and with the quality with which they are designed.

It was also agreed to have the necessary and enough personnel to operate the administrative, support and services areas to carry out the support activities for the development of academic and student development activities.

In the first stage, a single academic shift will be opened, from 8:00 to 16:00 hours and two educational programs: Bachelor's degree in nursing and bachelor's in agribusiness, to then grow in an orderly, planned and as demand is required. Between academics and students, it is estimated to start with approximately 350 people.

To this end, Municipal government personnel, agreed to contribute to enable the access road, to manage that the route of transport arrives to the doors of the headquarters and to facilitate the administrative procedures that are of the municipal order so that the doors of the seat Janicho of the University of Guanajuato open the next school cycle that starts in August.

In the package of commitments that were made in the work meeting are also involved aspects of connectivity and equipment, of telephony and internet to support the activities of teaching-learning.

The environment is also being cared for through environmental impact studies; In this sense, the commitment was made to replant in the same area those species that have to be removed as part of the opening of the access road and to care for and protect all forms of animal and plant life. It will also be installed on the outside solar lamps that allow to save energy.

The President of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, made the commitment to open the Janicho headquarters this same year so that all the supports and facilities are provided so that it is possible to have a university seat in that Region of the state, said Dr. Romero Hidalgo when closing agreements and establishing dates of compliance.
