Guanajuato, Gto., June 28, 2019.- The documentary series called "La UG en el mundo" produced by the University of Guanajuato through its Radio, Television and Hypermedia System- SIRTH UG- was selected as one of the ten best audiovisual production works by the evaluation committee of the Seventh Latin American Competition "New Looks on Television" in the category of "Production of Journalistic-Documentary Disclosure".

This international event is organized by the Latin America Television Network (TAL-), the prestigious Festival "Doc Montevideo" of Uruguay, as well as by the National University of Quilmes, Argentina.

The series presents the life stories, as well as the academic and work success of proud graduates of the University of Guanajuato in different nations of the world, after their participation in institutional academic mobility programs abroad.

The first season is part of 12 chapters which focus on stories that develop in countries such as: Japan, United Kingdom, France and Belgium.

The project represents an important contribution to position and project the University of Guanajuato in the international arena as an Institution of Higher Education of recognized prestige and academic excellence, for the training of graduates of all areas of knowledge that perform prominently in world-renowned organizations, companies and academic projects.

At the same time, it assists in the dissemination of identity and institutional values, by showing the life stories of university students who show their pride in belonging and having received a comprehensive training in the highest House of Studies of the State of Guanajuato.

"UG in the world" is constituted as a benchmark of educational-cultural promotion to enhance the growth of the internationalization of the University of Guanajuato, in addition the materials of the series can be used in national academic events and International.
