Guanajuato, Gto., July 25, 2019.- Nine students and two professors from the Bivalent Baccalaureates of Materials' Sciences and Mechatronics from the High Schools of Guanajuato and Salamanca participated in exchange with Japanese institutes.

For the fourth consecutive year, the exchange between high school students at Guanajuato University (UG) with the Kosen Nagaoka, Ibaraki, Fukushima and Oyama Institute of Technology was held.

This year, the host Institute was Nagaoka, which means that the Mexican delegation stayed in their dormitories during the first week performing immersion activities to the Kosen system and Japanese culture.

Among the diligences they performed are visit to Nagaoka University of Technology and the History Museum of Niigata Prefecture, as well as taking workshops in mechanical engineering, electrical control engineering, as well as systems engineering electronics and electrical devices.

During the second week, the Mexican delegation visited the Ibaraki, Oyama and Fukushima technology institutes respectively, participated in classes, workshops, and conducted experiments in mechanics, robotics, biochemistry, civil engineering and they knew the facilities of each of the colleges and visited the Tochigi campus. They finished their program with a visit to the famous Soka University.

This experience contributes to the integral development of students, in which, in addition to knowing the Japanese education system, they strengthen and increase their learning of the Japanese language, they expand their understanding and understanding of a different culture, strengthen ties between Mexico and Japan.
