usaGuanajuato, Gto., July 29, 2019.- For the fourth time, students from the High School College (CNMS) of the University of Guanajuato (UG) participated in the 4H Camp Program (Head; Heart; Hands; Health), in West Virginia, United States.

7 students and 2 high school (ENMS) teachers from Silao, Celaya, Irapuato, Celaya, Salvatierra, Centro Histórico León and San Luis de la Paz attended.

The students who were part of the delegation are: Luis Francisco Franco Ramírez, Alondra Ailyn Martínez Jaramillo, Elisa Mata Carreón, Rubí Aguilar Ortiz, Daphne Delgado Meza, Dominik Paulian Romero León, Víctor Emilio Ramírez Monjaraz y los profesores Rosa Arvizu García y Carlos Florentino Origel Zavala.

The purpose of this camp is to produce in youth personal development experiences to help improve their own understanding, and to establish personal trust when they assume leadership positions.

The Mexican delegation participated in workshops that increased his personal and skills understanding. The students were part of a series of trainings focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) art, life skills, sports and recreation activities.

They were also involved in common summer camp activities throughout the week such as the council circle, assemblies, growth groups and social time for cultural growth.

Finally, the students mentioned that this experience is very important for their school career and that it will leave a mark on their training, as it is not easy to go abroad. They thanked the University for having these agreements with foreign institutions, as it allows them to have enriching life experiences.
