León, Gto., September 3, 2019.- In order to train in the diagnosis of any disruption of movement and marching, a group of 12 doctors received a workshop in which these issues were addressed through the team called NORAXON that is part of the state-of-the-art technology of the Specialized Unit in Physical Rehabilitation (UERF) of the Torre Vida UG located in the León Campus of the University of Guanajuato (UG).

The doctors who received the workshop are originally from the various municipalities of the state and members of the Medical Rehabilitation College, the session was carried out by Dr. Beatriz González Sandoval, who currently serves as Coordinator of the bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and the UERF.

In an interview, Dr. Carlos Fernando Jiménez Arrieta, President of the Medical College of Rehabilitation of the State of Guanajuato commented on the importance of this workshop "as rehabilitation doctors we are very keen to detect any alteration of the march or movement, but subjectively; so I can have a different view than my partner has in relation to the same patient and here through detection through technology, obviously it's accurate (...) you can know what movements the patient is making at the time of the ride and it's very important."

During the workshop, the modules that the team has were identified, questions were asked focused on clinical data of possible patients, the patient profile and the scopes that are available were made by having the information that the report of each I am a student.

This workshop is relevant for the alliances and relationship with specialists in the field that will have an impact on the quality medical care of those patients who require it.

The multidisciplinary team working in the Unit was assisted by practitioners and interns of the educational program of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, the Biomedical Engineer David Abraham Santos Moreno and administrative staff of it.
