Dr. Obregón, belonging to the Department of Physics of the León Campus of the UG, was invited to share with the academic community his experience in the subject of Supersymmetry: the Universe and Black Holes; theme that the leading researcher works within his research line Supersymmetric Quantum Cosmology, Non-Commutability in Norma theories and Gravitation, Entropy, Holography and Gravitation.

The forum is organized by the Academic Division of Basic Sciences and has the main purpose of promoting the study and application of this discipline for the benefit of society.

In addition to the extraordinary class, two courses were taught: Introduction to quantum solids theory taught by Dr. Chumin Wang Chen from the Institute of Materials of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the second called Projective Spaces and their Applications in Physics by Dr. Roberto Cartas Fuentevilla of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla; in addition to four outstanding conferences in the field.

Dr. Obregón Díaz has published more than 120 articles in international journals and has been credited with different awards since 1983, with the Alexander Von Humboldt Scholarship, the National Prize for Science and Arts in 1999 in the field of Physical Sciences - Mathematics and Nature awarded by the Presidency of the Republic and the Fellow Award of the American Physical Society.

He has received several Honoris Causa doctorates: in 2012 by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, in 2016 by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and in 2018 by his own House of Studies, the UG.

In addition, in 2015 he won the Chronicle Award. The UG researcher graduated with a Bachelor of Physics degree from the Faculty of Sciences of UNAM and completed his PhD at the University of Konstanz, Germany.
