Salamanca, Gto., September 30, 2019.- With the development of the educational platform LUDOVERSO students from the Engineering Division of the Irapuato-Salamanca Campus of the University of Guanajuato (UG) took the first place in the LinceHack 2019.

In its second edition, this 42-hour competition, featured more than 250 participants from different schools, who planned and carried out projects focused on the solution of problems in education for all, classroom education, education environmental and sustainable education.

The DICIS team was integrated by Jonathan Joel Corona Ortega, Diego Eduardo Rosas González and Alan Antonio Alvarez Sánchez, students of the program in Computer Systems Engineering, together with Laura Alicia Valdés Flores, student of the Bachelor of Digital Arts and Alejandro Rivera Morón, who studies Engineering in Communications and Electronics.

The name LUDOVERSO is the combination of Ludo (Latin for "I Play") and universe. It is an educational platform aimed at primary school students in which there are activities in the form of games for the child to learn in a fun way and both the teacher and parents can see the performance of their children. At the end of the game, the student can redeem their points for coins to customize their avatar.

First place winners earned a starter mobility grant awarded by EDUCAFIN, a commemorative trophy and recognition.

The winning team thanked the BeeDevelopers group, a group organized by students and engineers in computer systems that seeks to increase knowledge in the areas of programming, software development and entrepreneurship, to which they belong some of the winning students.

They also had the support of Apolo UG, a group that aims to solve some of the aspects related to the cultural offer and the use of some of the physical and cultural spaces existing in the Division through courses, workshops, conferences, etc. to which the student Laura Valdés of Digital Arts belongs.

The contest was organized by the student group Mentes Emprendedoras Innovando y Transformando la Sociedad (MEITS) in coordination with the National Technologic of Mexico in Celaya, they had the support of 25 mentors and 6 judges for the selection of the best Projects.
