19-Guanajuato, Gto., October 7, 2019.- As part of the development of one of the substantive functions of the UG, 19 projects from the different high schools (ENMS) were approved within the framework of the Call for Research in the High School College (CNMS) 2019–2020.

A total of 19 leading researchers and 22 co-researchers, being high school professors at the University of Guanajuato (UG), will be conducting research for one year.

The CNMS Research Committee, through expert professors, analyzed each of the participating projects, assessing the quality, relevance and viability of these; in addition to the impact on the application and dissemination of research results to the academic community and society at large.

The lines of research established for the High School College are two, one for the Teaching Processes–Learning in high school and, second, Management of Education in Middle Education (with special emphasis on terminal efficiency, retention and dropout).

For this fourth edition of the Call, for the first time a bag of $55,000.00 (fifty-five thousand pesos, 00/100 m.n.), which was negotiated so that each ENMS within its regular budget would support the activities of the teachers whose project was approved.

Approved projects can be found in the following link:

The teachers appreciated the support that would allow them to carry out research since one of the substantive functions is teaching and research thus allows them to apply the knowledge within the classroom.
