León, Gto., October 9, de 2019.- With the intention of showing talent and strengthening links with the business sector, the University of Guanajuato (UG) shows its technological, scientific and human talent potential at the Hannover Messe 2019 Fair.

In the event that has as its host the city of León and which will be held from October 9 to 11, the UG will present its capabilities for the formation of high-performance human resources; development of state-of-the-art research; technology transfer for the industrial sector; as well as the intercultural competencies of their teachers, students and graduates.

The first edition of the Hannover Fair in Latin America will allow the promotion and strategic articulation between universities, research entities, companies and society; creating an optimal environment for scientific and technological development, which enables sustainable economic and social development based on knowledge.

It highlights the participation of the Ecosystem of Liaison, Innovation, Development and Application of Knowledge (VIDA UG) that, through its technology parks, present their potential for technological development in the energy issue with integration of 4.0 technologies.

This time the lines of generation and application of the knowledge developed by the UG and that are of interest to the sectors in attendance will be made known: technologies to reduce the generation of polluting emissions; development within the framework of 4.0 technologies in the energy sector; engineering in manufacturing and information and communication technologies to provide specialized support to the business sector and digital platforms for the training and updating of high-performance human resources.

In addition to nanotechnology for the treatment of wastewater of the industrial sector; Biomedical applications; Technological developments for Society 5.0; Transfer of patents applied to the health, energy and leather-shoe sector; design and development of a compact HUB-type permanent magnet motor for the mobility of the future.

The participation of the UG in the Hannover Fair in León is coordinated by the VIDA UG Ecosystem, but areas such as the Department of Student Development, the Department of Research and Postgraduate Support will be present; the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation and all the strengths of the four university campuses and the High School College.

In addition, this October 10, in the framework of the industrial and business meeting, the Folkloric Ballet of the University of Guanajuato (BAFUG), with 72 dancers and 12 musicians, will present a program composed of different choreographies that highlight our roots and traditions in a show of music, color and folklore.

It is important to mention that the annual Hannover Fair has been held in Germany for 60 years and is the main market for state-of-the-art technologies, materials and ideas. The exhibition allows the interaction and integration between different industries and scopes of application.

With this participation, the University of Guanajuato consolidates the commitment to work together to place Guanajuato on the international map of Industry 4.0.
