Guanajuato, Gto., October 15, 2019.- The participation of the University of Guanajuato was a success at the Hannover Messe 2019, which recorded a total attendance of 4,629 visitors in its stand, among which are entrepreneurs and students mainly, positioning themselves with their human talent, scientific and technological.

During October 9th, 10th and 11th that this event was held at the Poliforum León, the University of Guanajuato managed to attract a significant number of visitors interested in its great academic diversity, its intercultural plurality, as well as the wide development in scientific and technological research.

The UG in Hannover Messe 2019 unveiled its four axes of action: Human Potential, Research, Technology and Interculturality; by the students and staff who were present from the Department of Research and Postgraduate Support (DAIP), the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation (DRICA) and the Ecosystem of Liaison, Innovation, Development and Implementation of the Knowledge (VIDA UG).

Within the Human Potential it was highlighted that the University of Guanajuato has an enrollment of 42, 255 students, enrolled in the more than 218 educational programs of middle and high school taught in the different Campuses, Divisions and Schools, highlighting its bachelor's degrees focused on the industry such as Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical, Computational Systems, Biotechnology, to name a few, as well as in its postgraduate degrees with master's and doctoral degrees, in addition to its continuing education programs open to the public and targeted to the needs of the business sector.

In the research axis, it was emphasized that the state of Guanajuato ranks seventh nationally in terms of researchers in the SNI per 100,000 inhabitants; of the 1,064 researchers in the state, 54.8 percent belong to the UG, and of the researchers level III, Guanajuato ranks 5th nationally with 79, of which 30% belong to the University of Guanajuato.

In its third axis, Technology, the importance of the technological parks which it has, managers of knowledge flow and technology, became promoters of innovation and strategic articulation between different sectors; and in its Axis Of Interculturality, emphasis was placed on mobility and student academic exchange through its educational model for the rapprochement of cultures, as well as its shows and cultural venues.

The University of Guanajuato is a prestigious public institution whose international significance was projected at the first edition of the Hannover Messe in Latin America, which results in its commitment to boost university talent to the height of Industry 4.0.
