-Students will be able to perform social service and internships; the master's degree in Forensic Sciences will be created.

Guanajuato, Gto., October 22, 2019.- With the signing of an agreement between the University of Guanajuato (UG) and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Guanajuato (FGE), headed by the holders of both institutions, the collaboration in the field of social service and professional practices was formalized.

The President of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino and the Attorney General of the State, Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre led the event held at the State Attorney General's Office, which was cited by UG academic authorities and FGE management staff.

In his participation, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero expressed his appreciation to concrete this collaboration for the benefit of the university community and announced the creation of the master's degree in Forensic Sciences, specially designed, in profiles and content, for the Attorney General's Office.

This represents the impetus for an unprecedented academic project in the university, which is assumed with the commitment to meet the specific conditions of the operators of the Attorney General's Office, in order to form a program that responds to the current work and challenges of the procurement of justice, applied to different areas of knowledge that make up the forensic sciences, such as medicine, biology, chemistry, engineering, among others.

The Attorney General, Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, reiterated the commitment to make a convenient connection of the university community, as well as the conviction that the Public Prosecutor's Office actively participates in the integral formation of the university community that provides its service social and practical practices in it.

He shared his gratitude on the creation of the master's degree in Forensic Sciences, which will be a part of the city that will strengthen the work and scientific investigation of crime, which will benefit the Guanajuatenses.

With the above, the Attorney General's Office of the State and the University of Guanajuato reaffirm their conviction to work in coordination on common objectives that have a positive impact on society.
