Guanajuato, Gto., November 1, 2019.- UG INNOVA Technopark in coordination with the Department of Innovation, Science and Higher Education of the State of Guanajuato and the Ecosystem of Liaison, Innovation, Development and Application of knowledge of the University of Guanajuato (VIDA UG), carried out the award of the fifth edition of the Guanajuato TALEN-TIC 2019 Call.

The award ceremony was attended by Eng. Eusebio Vega Pérez, Secretary of Innovation, Science and Higher Education of the State of Guanajuato, who congratulated the winners for being talented young people; He also stressed that the government program wants to detonate innovation and entrepreneurship in students. It motivated them to be good professionals and to learn to self-employ and give the opportunity to generate jobs, so they have SICES and technology parks to boost entrepreneurs.

The Executive Director of UG INNOVA Technopark, Dr. Geovanni Hernández Gómez, thanked the winners for being present at the ceremony, and said that Guanajuato TALEN-TIC has been developed for five years having as its motto " Looking for young entrepreneurs," and that's how young entrepreneurs are sought across the state to support and bring them closer to opportunities provided by the state and see their idea implemented in the market.

For his part, Dr. Jesús Martínez Patiño, General Coordinator of VIDA UG, mentioned that this is an ecosystem to add efforts and according to each identity are concrete ideas of linking, innovation, development and application of knowledge, and reiterated young people who have this institution to consolidate their projects.

This competition was held on August 13 of this year, in the facilities of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Purísima del Rincón and the winners are:

1.° Archie Travel of the Instituto Tecnológico de Roque.
2.° Virtual Textile Riveter Design of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Sur de Guanajuato.
3.° NextCode of the Universidad Tecnológica de León.
4.° ANKHA BIOMEDIC of the Universidad Politécnica del Bicentenario.
5.° SICAp of the Universidad Tecnológica del Norte de Guanajuato.

This event was attended by the Ing. Julio Rodríguez Blanco, President of CANIETI Office Guanajuato; Mr. Adriana Valdivia Muñiz, Director of CANIETI Office Guanajuato; educational authorities of the Instituto Tecnológico de Roque, Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Sur de Guanajuato, Universidad Tecnológico de León and Universidad Politécnica del Bicentenario.
