Irapuato, Gto. November 26, 2019.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) in coordination with 2 Mexican universities and 4 foreign institutions, aim to create an international network of collaboration between research groups and academic bodies in Nursing.

This proposal was agreed by the holders of the Nursing Departments of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, Torreón headquarters; University of Guanajuato, Irapuato-Salamanca Campus; the Autonomous University of Yucatan, the Catholic University Santo Toribio de Mongrovejo, in Chiclayo, Peru; the National University of Colombia, the Universidad de la Sabana in Chía, Colombia and the Fundación Universitaria Tecnológico Comfenalco, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

Dr. Gloria Vega Argote, Director of the Nursing Department of the Division of Life Sciences (DICIVA) in Irapuato, served as host in the working session with teachers and managers of the sister institutions, in an extensive session in which Ideas and proposals were put into the letter intended to form this international network of research groups.

These agreements were made within the framework of the Third International Congress of Research in Health Sciences, whose motto was "Comprehensive Care in the 21st Century" and the first Meeting of Academic Research Bodies, organized by the UG and the Autonomous University of Coahuila.

Grever María Avila Sansores, member of the organizing committee and professor of the DICIVA noted that health professionals can not only develop in hospitals or offices, they also have the interest of doing science, so they decided to do synergistic efforts of the different disciplines and stakeholders, to make innovative proposals that respond to the main problems that afflict populations.

With both events they seek to promote the research axes in chronicity, prevention-well-being and education, as well as strengthening the discipline through the approach of current topics through workshops and conferences, taught by Dr. Sofia Sabino Lavado (Peru), Dr. Patricia Isolina Gómez Aguilar (Yucatan), Dr. Ma. Elisa Moreno Fergusson (Colombia), Dr. Fernando Guerrero Castañeda (UG) and Dr. Oscar Rubén Ojeda Razo of the Maternal Children's Hospital of Irapuato.

Because the patient is the fundamental axis of any diagnosis or treatment, having a meeting of academic bodies and research groups within the congress further consolidates the vocation of service with a better way to intervene and make knowledge.
