THE PROJECT FROM REYNA CORREA CONTRIBUTES IN REDUCING A GREAT PROBLEM FOR YURIRIA'S LAGOON.

Guanajuato, Gto., October 30, 2015.- With a research that allows water lily from Yuriria's lagoon to elaborate a high quality compost for gardening and ornate domestic plants, Reyna Correa Cruz, graduate from the University of Guanajuato, obtained the 2nd place in the National Contest of College Works on Protected Natural Areas and Climatic Change 2015.

Water lily is harmful for Yuriria's lagoon and limits touristic and fishing activities, therefore the projects seeks to diminish the negative impacts when withdrawn, besides collaborating in eradicating the illegal extraction of soil from the forests for their sale.

This research is how the graduate from the Major in Business Management contributes in constructing a better environment and links academy with society through scientific development, innovation, environmental conservation and economic development.
