Guanajuato, Gto., November 12, 2015.- With the purpose to strengthen the academic link, the general rector from the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino gathered with authorities from the University of Hiroshima, Japan,

During the visit, UG's general rector showed interest in sealing the double degree program and generate a collaboration between the universities.

In addition, Dr. Guerrero Agripino manifested that the conditions are right for a collaboration in such program, because achieving a double degree can reattribute in social wellbeing.

These actions for the postgraduates enriches the academic formation from the students and allows researchers to grow with better study tools and analysis of results.

The general rector pointed that the University of Guanajuato will make the proper negotiations to seal the link between the universities and the advance regarding double degrees is a significant proof.

The people who assisted from the University of Hiroshima were Professors and Program manager, Dr. Toru Takashina; Graduate from the School of Engineering, Dr. Keiya Nishida; Professor from the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Mechanical System Engineering, Dr. Ryutaro Hino; and from the Education and International Office (special appointment) and professor from the faculty, Dr. Yasuo Yamane.

And the people who assisted from the University of Guanajuato there was also the Director of Academic Cooperation, Dr. Sergio Antonio Silva Muñoz and from the Department of Mechanical Engineering from the Division of Engineering from Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, director Dr. Elias Ledesma Orozco.
