Guanajuato, Gto., August 23, 2016.- The "Estudiantina" of the High School León represented the University of Guanajuato (UG) during the XXV Anniversary of the "Tuna Remembranza de Cuernavaca," with a gala concert at the Movie theater Morelos, one of the historical and most important venues in the city.

"Tuna Remembranza de Cuernavaca" born on July 12, 1981, composed by young enthusiasts, willing for success, bohemia lovers and lovers of the art of the good tunar. The group began at the Church of Tepetates of Cuernavaca and has placed in the taste of the people from Morelos.

The "Tuna Colegiata Real de Guanajuato" led by Lic. Gustavo Galván was invited, and at the same time, they invited the Director of the Estudiantina of León Edgar Matt and Deputy Chief, Ana Jessy Ramírez to participate in the event.

Before the presentation, there was a "callejoneada" through Cuernavaca's downtown to invite the population to the concert to be held in the theater.

The first at the scene were the members of the Estudiantina from HS León, with a traditional repertoire and their known happy and youthful style; after the Tuna Remembranza made his appearance with its romanticism and excellent handling of music tones; the evening closed with the Tuna Colegiata de Guanajuato.

It is worthy to mention that the estudiantina from HS León celebrates the 54th anniversary of its foundation and for its members, to represent UG in this national event is a matter of pride, hence, they thanked the support given by the director of the High School College, QFB.
