León, Gto., August 24, 2016.- The International Biennial "Territories in Movement," has proven to be a referent of academic work which is held in the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities from the University of Guanajuato Campus León. In this third edition, they will hold more than 100 conferences, which will have as themed axes: power, culture and development.

This great prestige and contribution to society academic encounter has been done since 2012. Therefore, this edition of the biennial has the primary objective to improve the expectation of the previous versions.

To the opening ceremony attended, representing the General Rector of UG, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, the Institution's Pro Vost, Dr. Héctor Efraín Rodríguez de la Rosa, who highlighted the way this type of events gradually evolve, and now "is a worthy example of a fruitful work that joins two points: what happens in the classroom, and what society expresses through scientists and social researchers."

He assured that the presented talks and poster will be of high quality and will open many eyes to generate a synapsis of how to creatively, innovatively, pacifically, civilized and purposeful influence our country and region.

The first conference was in charge of the Dr. Alicia Zicardi, teacher from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), who in the talk titles "The new urban politics and the right to the city," narrated the relevance of some members of the society to generate changes in the cities, as well as the importance of the correct implementation of the public politics in modern society.

At the protocol event were also present, Dr. Luxana Reynaga Ornelas, Academic Secretary of Campus León; Dr. Luis Fernando Macías, Director of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities; CPA. Carlos Alfredo Torres Moreno, General Director of Municipal Education and Dr. Alex Caldera Ortega, professor-researcher of the Department of Public Management and Development.
