
Yuriria, Gto. August 26, 2016.- Experts from multinational companies of technology, participated in the First International Symposium of Software Development at venue Yuriria of the University of Guanajuato, that has proposed to become the scientific and technologic leader in south of the state.
Attracted by the interest of being in the vanguard of the topic of software development, professors and students from different universities and Technological Institutes in the region also attended, who had the chance to listen the lead iOS and web developer from IBM Chicago, Eng. Santiago Prada Bernal.
During his talk "Programming experiences: development of mobile applications from the concept until the production," Prada Bernal reflected that the everyday life of millions of people globally integrates more and more with informatics systems and the exponential adoption of mobile devices.
This intimate relationship from the use and his device has generated a global demand of experts in the field of design and informatics, Therefore, the technical solutions must not be limited to solve a problem in question; it is critical that the emotional answers and the experience sought to evoke in the user during the interaction, be the base of which such solutions edify.
Then was the talk "Data bases today" from the technical director of Santander Bank N.A., M.A. Rogelio Chabolla Diez de Bonilla, who considers that the handling of information has increased for decades and every time is more important to be able to have more precise data, to be available all the time and that also they generate a competitive advantage in business to make more assertive and faster decisions in this accelerated world.
While welcoming the attendants, the Director of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, Dr. Everardo Vargas Rodríguez, explained that the UG in Yuriria has encouraged new research lines, which derived in the Master degree in Technology Management, that last year obtained the quality recognition from the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT for its acronym in Spanish). In addition, they project a major in software development, to encourage this type of developments outside the industrial corridor of the state.
Dr. Ernesto Camarena Aguilar, Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca from UG, inaugurated the Symposium accompanied by Dr. Maria Susana Ávila García, professor-researcher and member of the organizing committee, and Lic. Juan Antonio Martínez Herrera, student from the Master degree in Technology Management.
