
Celaya, Gto., August 31, 2016.- The degrees in Administration, Public Accountant and Marketing taught at the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra received evaluators from the Council of Evaluation in Administrative, Accountable and Related Sciences (CACECA for its acronym in Spanish), who through interviews to students, graduates and scholars valued the strengths and weaknesses of the programs with the finality to determine their quality.
The closing ceremony of the evaluation was led by the Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Ojeda Vargas, who was accompanied by Dr. Ricardo Contreras Soto, Director of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences, and the responsible for the committee of the education program M.A. Maria del Carmen Lira, from the Universidad Tecnológica del Norte de Guanajuato of Marketing; M.A. Ma. Esther Mears of Administration, of the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez and M.A. César Luque from CACECA and responsible of the Public Accountant Committee.
Equally, during the evaluations were present M.A. Pedro Pastor, of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN); M.A. José Rosalío Muñoz, free-lance professional; M.A. María del Rocío Noriega Martínez of IPN; M.A. Diana Rojo Morales of UDG, Centro Universitatrio del Sur de Ciudad Guzmán; M.A. Federico Enrique Rojas of IPN and M.A. Romel García of the Instituto Tecnológico de Iguala.
In his interventions, Dr. Ricardo Contreras explained that during these days the evaluators made an analysis that sums the strengths and weaknesses, and from there they'll seek to improve the academic projects to certify them.
The evaluators thanked the willingness, the company and the commitment from the university community and explained that they will briefly send the corresponding observations or recommendations for each educational program.
At the same time, the Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra expressed that the Development Plan of the University of Guanajuato is on the final review, "the plan is synthetized in 18 programs and emphasizes in the student's comprehensive formation," she added that the administration will focus on supporting the academic and research will be a vehicle to strengthen each one of the educational programs.
She revealed that soon the new profile of degree coordinator will start, which implies a spin on educational programs since the responsible will have to be a full time professor, developing a subject in the classroom and an expert in the disciplinary area.
Likewise, explained that everything is ready for the execution of the federal resource to build the soccer field with natural grass and tartan track, promise made by the governor Miguel Márquez in his last visit to the university campus.
Finally, she thanked each one of the evaluators and equally mentioned the effort developed by the coordinators of the educational program, the work of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences and the administrative support of her team during the evaluation process, and above all thanked the support from the students, who participated actively during the process.
