
Guanajuato, Gto., September 1, 2016.- "Philosophy doesn't only concern academic problems, but, as for reflection, it is immersed in every act of knowing and everyday life, since it is about a critic attitude towards any human doing," exposed Dr. Rodolfo Cortés del Moral when he offered a talk in the venue San Miguel of the University of Guanajuato.
The professor-researcher of the Department of Philosophy participated with the topic "Problems and debates of current Philosophy," in the Cycle of Conferences organized by the Unit of Extension of Campus Guanajuato in San Miguel de Allende.
Dr. Rodolfo Cortés began his talk showing the substantial differences of the contemporary Philosophy regarding modern philosophy, especially in all forms of addressing problems of the classic thinking. So, he provided a general panorama of the contemporary thought and exposed the relevance of the philosophy before diverse problems that haunt current society, such as wars, educational lag, and generalized illness, subjects that, said the scholar, is turn of the philosophy to replant and assume the star role for their solution.
One of the many questions planned by the attendants was, can we try to change the situation in this time of crisis? To what Dr. Cortés del Moral answered: "Not only we can, but we must do so, although we are not certain that our intent will have a good end, although we don't change the current situation. BY human dignity, we must try to fight and go out of this barbaric time."
That is how the third conference of the cycle that the Extension Unit if San Miguel de Allende makes to get the public in touch with the research and reflection tasks done at the University of Guanajuato.
