Guanajuato, Gto., September 2, 2016. With the purpose to contribute to the formation of communicators who collaborate in the construction of a critic, democrat, free and participative society, starting from September 24th, it will be taught a diploma in Journalism at the University of Guanajuato.
The program has eleven modules taught by outstanding scholars, who will develop topics such as digital, research and specialized journalism; journalism and human rights, deontology, legal framework of the journalist, research techniques and journalism language. It will also cover violence and communication media and accounts, transparency and access to the information.
The classes will be taught at the facilities of the Division of Economic Administrative Sciences (DCEA) from September 24th to December 10th, on Saturdays from 09:00 to 15:00. It will be a total of 103 theoretical and practical hours.
Whomever is interested in taking the diploma in Journalism must fill an online registry form, pay $5,000 MXN to enroll, and before September 30, a second $4,000 MXN payment.
This program is directed to everyone who is interested in obtaining knowledge about high level journalism of social responsibility and ethics, with the intention to be capable of analyzing the social, political, economic and cultural phenomena, parting from a journalism language that is adequate to massive media of written and electronic communication.
The graduates will receive a diploma is they have a minimum attendance of 90% and a minimum GPA of 8.0, or a record of participation. Such documents will have the signature of the Director and Academic Secretary of the Division of Economic and Administrative Sciences.
