Guanajuato, Gto., September 7, 2016.- Students from the High School León venue San Miguel, will attend the "XXX National Encounter of Scientific Divulgation" as part of their academic activities that allows their comprehensive and transversal development.

This type of activities, assured the professor at HS Leon, Dr. José Arturo Ruiz Santoyo, allow the continuous development of the students in the social, academic and professional ambiance. Besides getting them closer to scientific areas.

During the encounter, which will be held from October 3 to 7 2016 at the venue Forum of Campus Leon, there will be activities of workshops, experiments, demonstrations, theater plays with science topics and scientific acts in the experimental areas of physics and chemistry.

Dr. José Arturo Ruiz Santoyo, who also is part of the coordination of the Technological Baccalaureate with International Profile (BTPI) at HS Leon, assured that the participation of the students will be supported by the academic group of this institution, and they expect the participation of 350 students every day of the event.

This year, the national encounter is organized by the Mexican Society of Physics in collaboration with the Center of Optics Research (CIO) and the Division of Sciences and Engineering of Campus León of the University of Guanajuato.

Likewise, this event will be held in parallel with the National Congress and has the finality to divulge science, through a set of conferences dictated by experts in the topic, which are aimed to the public in general besides workshops and interactive expositions for preschoolers, elementary and middle schoolers.
