Guanajuato, Gto., September 14, 2016.- With the objective to encourage the comprehensive formation of the students of the University of Guanajuato (UG), there was the second athletic race at High School Guanajuato.

Within activities of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of this school, there was this activity that promotes the organized practice of sports, besides developing healthy habits among the youth.

More than 500 participants, ran excited the 5km headed towards the San Vicente Mine, to then come back to the start at HS Guanajuato facilities.

In an interview, the Director of HS Guanajuato, Juana Silvina Galván Rocha, mentioned that in the summon participate students, professors and academic personnel. She added that, they will seek to continue making this event every year, since it is a way to encourage physical activity and coexistence among partners.

The main categories were: HS Guanajuato male; HS Guanajuato female; Higher education male; higher education female; university worker male, university worker female, HS male student and HS female students.

It is important to mention that the race was organized by HS Guanajuato through the coordination of Sport Liaison and the first 5 places were awarded with an economic stimulus.
