León, Gto., September 16, 2016.- Students from the degree in Medical Surgeon participated in the Hematological Health Fair where they addressed relevant aspects of the blood, its components, function, diseases and preventive actions for health.

At the patio of the Division of Health Sciences venue San Carlos, were installed diverse information modules where the attendees participated in fun dynamics that besides knowing the importance the tissue has, they addressed topics of prevention and treatment of some diseases.

In an interview, Gabriel Santos Vázquez, student of the fifth semester of the Medical Surgeon degree, explained that his participation in the module of blood bank, where information to promote voluntary blood transfusion was generated, besides offering the attendees contents to prevent diseases.

"Our objective is to transmit knowledge and make the attendees aware of the importance blood has in the organism to prevent diseases and health care," he pointed.

It is worthy to mention, to the event attended students from the three divisions of Campus Leon, in such way that the students that participated in the information modules made communication strategies that eased the comprehension of the treated topic. Equally, they had the presence of professionals in the area that made a tour and participated in the activities.
