In an interview, the guest director, assured that it is important to take culture to every place in the state and the Mexican Republic, since it is fundamental that people approaches culture.
"Without noticing, music is a fundamental part of our lives, I don't know a person who hasn't listened music one day of his or her life, be that voluntarily or involuntarily and in this case, is better with a high level orchestra such as OSUG" affirmed M.A. Iván López Reynoso.
This concert was harmonized with the work of the romantic Mexican composer Ricardo Castro, "Intermezzo of the Opera" that is about a tragic love between a Spanish invader and a Purépecha princess. The second work was from Carlos Chávez with the "Symphony No. 2 India" composed with a nurtured fleet of percussion instruments, constituted in a single movement.
Followed by "Carlota. Pas de Deux d'amour" of Arturo Rodríguez, who created this symphonic version where they try to get in the perturbed and in love mind of Carlota of Belgium who was Empress of Mexico on the late XIX century together with his love Maximiliano. This repertoire continued with the work of Arturo Márquez "Danzón No. 2" with rhythms that have an apparent lightly-hood of the danzón which would look like a letter of presentation for a music full of sensuality and rigor.
To please the attendants, OSUG played the work "Huapango" of José Pablo Moncayo García outside the program, which cheered the audience that stood and applauded to finalize the concert.
