Irapuato, Gto., September 19, 2016. With the finality to make a consult of the National Educational Model 2016, personnel from the Department of Education of Guanajuato (SEG), made a forum in the auditorium of the HS Irapuato.

Such event had the objective to gather the opinion of the society on the new Educational Model and the curricular proposal from which the new study plans and programs will be elaborated.

In the forum participated around 95 persons, among them students, professors and authorities from the 10 high schools of the University of Guanajuato.

Among the main characteristics, it was mentioned that this proposal of Educational Model is articulated in five grand axes, according the pedagogic plan of the Educational Reform: 1) The school in the center; 2) The curricular planning; 3) Formation and teacher professional development; 4) Inclusion and equity; and 5) The governance of the educational system.

It was remarked the autonomy of the University of Guanajuato in these topics and how they managed to coincide in common points to this model, so they requested the opinion of the attending professors.

At the event was present the Sub-secretary of High and Higher Education from SEG, Lic. José Abel Arteaga Sánchez; the Director of Academic Affairs from UG, M.A. Francisco Javier Pérez Arredondo; Dr. Gabriel Córdoba Duarte, Chief of the department of Educational Innovation from UG; the Director of the School, Q.F.B. Martha Oliva Gallaga Ortega; Dr. Jesús Raúl Lugo Martínez, Academic Secretary of the CNMS and Ximena Alarcón Verduzco, who exposed the Educational Model.
