León, Gto., September 21, 2016.- Sharing the values of inclusion, equity and collective work, is the vision of M.A. Sergio Augusto Romero Servín to lead HS Leon on the period 2016-2020.

As the new director of the HS, he cleared that to face challenges such as the consolidation of the educational quality and achieve better results in the evaluations, it is a priority to work in collaboration with professors, administrators and students.

M.A. Romero Servín mentioned that the HS Leon has are thanks to the dedication of the students, as well as the good performance of the professors and the invaluable support of the administrative personnel. "Together we form a diverse community, and in that sense, a valuable community," he said.

He reminded what the Organic Law of the University of Guanajuato states: "The university community is integrated by the academic personnel, the students, the members of the government organs and administrative personnel."

The General Rector of the University of Guanajuato (UG), Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, remarked the importance of working as a team, since he affirmed that it is the only form which HS Leon maintains the renowned academic level that distinguishes it.

In addition, he emphasized, for the House of Studies to progress, UG is always for respect, openness and full willingness to act institutionally. Hence, he reiterated, once the designation processes of the unipersonal authorities are finalized, what is next is to work together to reach common objectives.

He acknowledged that the challenge is huge, however, he trusted that joint work will allow reaching the planned goals and offered all the support from General Rectory to achieve so.

On his part, the Director of the High School College (CNMS), Q.F.B. Martha Oliva Gallaga Ortega, reminded that the trajectory of HS Leon is a product of the work of the student community, professors and directors that have placed it as a referent in the city.

Finally, M.A. Luis Ernesto González González, outgoing director, thanked the team who accompanied him during his possession, to the student community and academic body, that together, achieved favorable results for the institution.
