Guanajuato, Gto., September 25, 2016.- Under the topic "The evaluation in the educational field," it was held the XI Colloquium of Educational Research, where they carried out work tables, conferences and book presentations, where students and professors participated, as well as researcher-professors, professional formers of education, directors of educational institutions and responsible of negotiation.

The opening ceremony had place in the auditorium "M.A. María del Carmen Carrasco" venue Yerbabuena of Campus Guanajuato, of the University of Guanajuato (UG), where UG's Director of Academic Affairs, M.A. Francisco Javier Pérez Arredondo, attended representing Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, General Rector of the University of Guanajuato.

M.A. Pérez Arredondo celebrated the encounter of specialists, professors and students, which will lead to form, he said, the following generations of professionals with a highly engaged profile with the topic of education.

On his part, the Director of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Aureliano Ortega Esquivel, observed that this forum seeks be a liaison and share the different experiences and areas as well as levels that allow analyzing the national and regional problems of the educational system.

In his chance, the Director of the Department of Education and President of the Interinstitutional Council of Educational Research in the state of Guanajuato, M.A. Luis Jesús Ibarra Manrique, reminded that this colloquium is a space to communicate, discuss and reflect on the role the evaluation in the educational area has, by promoting the formation or update of the participants.

Finally, the Academic Coordinator of the XI Colloquium of Educational Research, Dr. Manuel Cacho Alfaro, reminded that the purpose of the Interinstitutional Council of Educational Research in the State, is to develop, promote and support the development of research in Guanajuato but linking with other regions and federal entities and other research networks and the work has proven that the formation of researchers in the educational field, has the do specially with all the postgraduate programs.

It is certain, he said, that if educational research doesn't socialize and discuss, it loses its sense, and with that mean, the activities that have been promoting, have to do with encounters of postgraduates in education and research colloquiums towards socializing research that is being done from postgrad students, such as the academics that form the institutions.

During the event there were conferences with the theme of evaluation and how to evaluate educational research, panel "Challenges of the educational evaluation. Diverse looks" of the evaluation of the educational reform in Mexico, the presentation of five books created by colleagues in the state and the region and finally, discussion of the students' presentation on projects, progress or concluded research.

At the opening ceremony we had the presence of the Coordinator of Support to Research and Postgraduate of Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Jesús Gerardo Valdés Vázquez who attended representing the Rector of Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera.
