Guanajuato, Gto., September 30, 2016.- Derived of the solid institutional projects presented in the Summon of the General Direction of University Education (DEGESU) of the Department of Public Education (SEP), to the University of Guanajuato (UG), were assigned $33,927.000 MXN through the Strengthening Program for Educational Quality (PFCE).

These resources will directly impact in the quality of the educational programs through actions that contribute the comprehensive development of the students, the development of the academic bodies, the increment of the academic competitiveness and the strengthening of the indexes of degree and graduation.

With the purpose to achieve the planned objectives in the summon, the resources will be distributed as follows:

$9,884,000 MXN pesos for Institutional Negotiation to address subjects such as: increase the educational quality, consolidate the implementation of the Educational Model (MEUG), strengthen the Program of Regional Equity, improve and innovate the university services, among others.

$2,244,000 MXN pesos for Campus Celaya-Salvatierra with the purpose to increase the terminal efficiency, encourage professional practices and liaison.

$9,592,000 MXN pesos will be destined for Campus Guanajuato with the objective to increase the academic competitiveness of the Educational programs, encourage the student's comprehensive development, strengthen the development of the academic bodies and increase the support of the postgraduates of the National Program of Quality Postgraduates (PNPC).

$3,620,000 MXN pesos will allow Campus Irapuato-Salamanca encourage the development of the academic bodies, assure the competitiveness of the educational programs and strengthen the indexes of degree and graduation.

$7,607,000 MXN pesos for Campus Leon to encourage the students' comprehensive development, increase the academic competitiveness of the Educational Programs and assure the relevance of the postgraduates in the PNPC.

$997,000 MXN pesos will be assigned to reach particular objectives of the Institutional Program of Gender and Equity.

This way, the University of Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment with the quality of the educational programs with the purpose to maintain as an educational referent of the state and strengthen its presence in the national and international level.
