
Guanajuato, Gto., September 30, 2016.- A total success was the "Open Day DCEA," in which 989 young high school students from all the state, knew the facilities, educational, sport and project offer of the Division of Economic-Administrative Science of Campus Guanajuato from UG.
The Director of the Division, Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, accompanied of the staff from the seven degrees offered by the DCEA, welcomed the young who were able to know in diverse workshops and tours, the reaches and possibilities of the academic programs taught there: degrees in Quality and Productivity Management, Touristic Resources Management, International Trade, Public Accountant, Economy, Industrial Relations and Systems of Administrative Information.
The objective of "Open Day DCEA," is that it is the first made in history of the Division, is to open the door and give them the best we have as institution and as Division, said Dr. Gómez López to the young aspirants, who in few months will want to incorporate some of the degrees.
She explained what kind of workshops they'll have, invited them to know the laboratories, the library, the facilities, take academic information provided in different stands, and even enjoy a performance offered by some students of the Division of Architecture, Art and Design, "it is about, as in the Papalote Museum, to come, touch and learn," she said.
After the formal welcome, the high schoolers attended several workshops, among others: What the !"#$ an economidt do?", Pokemon Go: a case of augmented reality," "Let's go in exchange to DCEA," "Social media handling for touristic businesses," "The magic of the industrial relationships," "Learn to export and import," "Can you play with quality?"
Finally, there was a small lunch for the 989 young students that came the high schools of Guanajuato, Silao, Leon, Irapuato, Romita, San Luis de la Paz, Institute "Montes de Oca" of Guanajuato, the School of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Guanajuato (Cecyteg) of San Luis de la Paz, Leon and Salvatierra; from the Regional High School of Rincón, from the Center of Technological-Industrial Baccalaureate and Services (CBTIS) Salamanca and Celaya and the High School "Enrique C. Rébsamen" of Dolores Hidalgo, among other educational institutions.
TESTIMONIES
Young students from the fifth semester of the HS Silao, were convinced to look a space at DCEA, for which they will give their best effort: "it's beautiful, the facilities are so cool," "they have enough space, well equipped," "very attractive degrees, the offer, the sports, tutoring, the exchanges!", "the languages!" expressed happily.
Lucía Silva, Luisa Cervantes, Moira Sánchez, Xóchitl Guadalupe and Rafael Torres, revealed that they will seek to enter Internationl Trade, Information Systems, among others, aware of some "heavy subjects" but worth it "because they a large field of work." It is important to mention, that for the quantity, the students were attended in two different schedules.
