analizan-regulacion-y-responsabilidad-ambientalGuanajuato, Gto., October 4, 2016.- On the matter of public policies, it will be precise to avoid deceit and simulation, contributing with responsibility and maturity the most significant efforts to achieve the preservation of life, held Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta, Rector of Campus Guanajuato while inaugurating the "Colloquium of projections of the environmental regulation and responsibility facing the climate change".

Such encounter was developed in the Hall of Acts of the Division of Law, Politics and Government (DDPG) of UG's Campus Guanajuato, as part of the functions of diffusion and extension, coordinated by the Program of Environmental Handling and Sustainability together with the division and through the Department of Law.

At the colloquium, Dr. Roberto Lara Chagoyán, Director of the Center of Constitutional Studies of the Supreme Court of the Nation and distinguished graduate of UG's classroom's, who participated in the topic "Reaches and perspectives of the Human Right to the environment".

Likewise, Dr. Rolando Cañas Moreno, President of the Mexican Academy of Environmental Law, dictated the second master conference "Environmental responsibility", in addition of the evening activities, the experts participated on the subject "Challenges of the collective actions in the environmental issue".

In her welcoming message, Dr. Rendón Huerta pointed out that "every day the planet's rattles are more intense" and "the threat blossoms on the humanity, is stronger every time, latent and continuous," despite the disappearing of forest areas and extinction of species, indifference reigns in many people.

Reason why, she said, it is necessary not to only have international legal instruments, such as the Copenhagen Summit, Kyoto's Protocol, the summits of Tierra de Río, from Johannesburg, among others, that foresee precise mechanisms, since the climate change has become an issue of national security, hence, they expect diverse reaction on the coming years, since it affects the social and economic composition of our country.

She congratulated DDPG for the initiative, to the Program of Environmental Handling and Sustainability of the University of Guanajuato and particularly to Dr., Eduardo Pérez Alonso, designated Director of the Division.

This colloquium was aimed for major and postgraduate students of social and humanistic areas, lawyers, public administrators, political scientists, public functionaries of the environmental area and public, with the finality to divulge topics and ideas through specialists in Environmental Law, Human Rights and Public Management of the Environment.
