Guanajuato, Gto., October 4, 2016.- With the objective to stimulate the artistic creativity and sustainability of their student community, the University of Guanajuato, through the student organization of Information Media, Liaison and Leadership of UG (MIEL UG), invite to participate in the 4th edition of Catrina.

The contest seeks that who participates, display their abilities of innovation and widen the concept of Mexican Culture referring to traditions through projects that manifest the originality.

The participants must represent "La Catrina", by confectioning a suit with one or more materials –preferably recycled—so they can be evaluated for creativity, characterization, the use of material, the representation of death and the explanatory topic of the same.

This edition will be held next Wednesday October 26 at 18:00hrs and will be done in two stages: the first will be the pare that will begin in the stairway at Teatro Juárez and will end in the Patio of the Hospice of the Holy Trinity.

The second stage will have a walkway of the contesting Catrinas, where every participant will read the explanatory text of their work, as well as the criteria and elements of the representation.
