Guanajuato, Gto., October 5, 2016.- From a total of 782 college candidates to receive the Ceneval Prize for Excellence Performance-EGEL in the country, 30 students of the University of Guanajuato (UG) received the award.
The Ceneval Prize for the Excellence Performance-EGEL was created by the National Center of Evaluation for Higher Education (Ceneval), to recognize and motivate the graduates to the diverse degree programs that reach an exceptional performance in the EGEL, as well as promoting the culture to the academic merit in the higher education institutions in the country (IES).
From 44 graduates throughout the state of Guanajuato who received the award, a majority of 30 people belong to out maximum house of studies, outstanding for their performance during the term Jan-Jun 2016.
These thirty graduates belong to the majors of Nursing; Law, Chemist-Pharmacist Biologist; Public Accountant; International Trade; Education; Mechanical Engineering; Public Administration; Medical Surgeon; and Nutrition.
The award ceremony depended on the outstanding performance level in every and each one of the areas that conform the exam and, additionally, covered with the following requirements:
1) First time presenting the EGEL
2) Have a year (max) of graduating from the major
The award consisted in a diploma and a medal, besides the public acknowledgement in a ceremony presided by authorities from SEP, the Ceneval and IES are hosts.
