Guanajuato, Gto., October 5, 2016.- With the objective to exchange ideas on the scientific progress in Psychology, Dr. Luis Felipe El Sahili participated in the X Congress of the Ibero-American Federation of Associations of Psychology (FIAP 2016) held in the city of Antigua, Guatemala.

In the event participated personalities from 24 countries, among them scholars, researchers and representatives of international editorials such as Manual Moderno, Paidós, Trillas, McGraw Hill, etc. There, more than 1,200 attendees could enjoy conferences and presentations of book throughout three days (September 23, 24 and 25 of the present year).

The attendants participated in topics such as social networks, inclusion, bullying, stress and comprehensive health. On his part, Dr. El Sahili, who represented the psychologists in this event, collaborated on "The social networks and their impact in individual and collective psychology."

The author also presented his new book: "Social Psychology", published by Trillas Editores, and gave another conference on the professional wear, also called burnout.

His participation was proposed by the president of the Mexican Federation of Psychology (FMP), Dr. Francisco Javier Rosas Vázquez, who named him representative of this organism (who agglutinates the associated psychologists of Mexico), designation that was accepted by the International Scientific Committee, in charge of Dr. María del Pilar Grazioso.

The current president of the Ibero-American Federation of Psychology is Dr. Maritza Ochoa and the organizer of the event was Dr. Alma Gisela Cárcamo Duarte, who is also president of the School of Psychologists of Guatemala.

In 2017 will be held the next congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina; under the hosting of the College of Psychologists of that country, whose responsible is Dr. Silvia Pugliese, president of such organism.

This time, other Spanish speaking countries will be joining and there will be APA (American Psychology Association) observers, same that were also present in this congress.

It is important to mention that Dr. Luis Felipe El Sahili is teacher at HS Leon. The researcher has a doctorate in Psychology and Education by the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ) and another more in Pedagogy by the Center of Postgraduate Studies of Bajio (CEPOB). Likewise, has been nominated for important national prizes, such as the National of Psychology in 2013. Currently, he is an honorary member of the FMP and in December he will be president of the evaluating committee of the National Prize of Psychology 2016, to be held in Tlaxcala.
