Irapuato, Gto. October 17, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato eases the teaching of English to the inhabitants of San José Iturbide, Irapuato, Pénjamo and Salamanca, through the Center of Continuous Education (CEC) of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca.
Recently created, the CEC in San José Iturbide began activities in March 2015 and has already delivered the first bilingual graduates in that city, represented by Zaira Minerva Zarazúa Rangel, who thanked the University of Guanajuato (UG) for the opportunity to form in a second language without having to migrate to another state or city.
In the northern venue of the CEC Irapuato, children and adults gathered. They finished the course of the free program of English in the different centers of the campus; 28 students are from Salamanca, 20 students in Irapuato, 6 students of the course for children in Irapuato and 2 students in San José Iturbide.
They received their diplomas from the hands of the Coordinator of Extension and Liaison, Dr. Salvador García Barrón and the Coordinator of Continuous Education, Lic. Yahaira González Calderón, as well as the responsible for the different CECs in the mentioned cities.
These centers have different venues: two in Irapuato (North and south), one in Salamanca, one in Pénjamo and the most recent in San José Iturbide.
The free English course has 8 levels and the student, after graduation, dominates the skills of reading, comprehension, writing and talking, so it has the necessary tools to insert easily with greater advantage in the job world.
In this way, the University of Guanajuato and Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, has activities of liaison and extension in benefit of society, in addition of English, they teach other languages such as French, Italian and workshops of Japanese, among others.
