Guanajuato, Gto., Otober 28, 2016.- With great success was developed the Encounter of High School Experiences of the University of Guanajuato, where they presented works resulted from teaching, research and extension that is made by the high school professor at UG.

The themed axes of the encounter were the teaching experience in the distinct areas of knowledge, the comprehensive formation of the student through institutional programs, the actual context of the institutional management of the National System of Baccalaureates and the Comprehensive Reform in the High education.

For two days, professors shared their works through conferences, posters and workshops that eased an ambience of academic coexistence.

In addition, they participated as master conference speakers, Dr. Arturo Lara López, Secretary of Innovation, Science and Higher Education of the State Government, and M.A. Magdalena Juárez, Administrator of the consulting business Samaritarian.

In his conference, Dr. Lara shared the new challenges of the teacher in high education, among he remarked a new space for research, the assurance of formation by competences to diminish the school lag and the link with the higher education determined by teaching values of innovation, leadership and creativity.

On his part, QFB. Martha Oliva Gallaga Ortega, Director of the High School College mentioned the importance of making this kind of events where the professors can share new experiences with the intention to improve the teaching practice.

At the end of the encounter, the professors expressed their satisfaction for participating in the Encounter of Experiences, where they could show the academic work make in the classroom every day.
