Celaya, Gto., October 31, 2016.- After a full journey, the cycle of conferences "Seminar of Political Marketing" concluded. The event was organized by students of the fifth semester of the degree in Marketing from the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra.

The speakers were: Rafael Quiroz with the topic "Marketing político, de la razón a la emoción", M.A. Mario Arturo Méndez who gave the conference "¿Y los jóvenes, que aportan a la política?", Lic. Nancy de Santiago spoke about the "Marco jurídico del marketing político", and el Dr. Mario Aguilar Camacho explained the "Fundamentos de política y gobierno".

The master conference was given by the Colombian, Dr. Carlos Salazar Vargas –pioneer of the concept of "politing"—with the conference titled "Politing, más allá del Marketing Político".

Dr. Salazar is an international speaker and consultant in Public Policies. He has been a guest professor in many universities, he is an author of eight textbooks, he lives in Mexico since 2001 and since 2003, he has a firm "Carlos Salazar & Asociados", in 2009 the Union Congress of the Mexican Republic, in co-edition with the Foundation Rafael Preciado Hernández, published a book on "Public Policies" and since 2014 he has worked in the concept of city marketing, position the city, which more than selling is marketing the city.

Politing –he explained—is a revaluated and updated concept of political marketing and changes the particular form and way of making politics in general, parting from the idea that the political word has three different meanings, politics, English expression that is defined as the "art of the possible of make the desirable possible", policy, whose meaning is a directive to reach established objectives and polity, that refers to norms, principles and rules; engulfing the three areas, so the Marketing of Public Policies is born.

During the activities, the attendees were interested in each one of the talks from the experts, since they talk about the second edition of this activity, that is what the coordinator mentioned at the Seminar, Dr. Emigdio Larios Gómez, who thanked the collaborators for the same.
