Guanajuato, Gto., Noember 18, 2016.- What rose as an idea for a thesis, today receives two international acknowledgements: "El resplandor de Alberta", of Noé González Morales, recently graduated from the degree in Interior Design at the University of Guanajuato (UG), was recognized by the Iberoamerican Biennial of illumination design and the World-Wide Biennial of Interior Design & Landscape.

It is a touristic rescue project of the crater "La ALberca", which the regional mythology calls "Alberta" and is forgotten in the urban landscape of the city of Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato.

However, Noé González Morales, next to Ing. Antonio Ortiz Mares and M.A. Eugenia Tenorio Nuñez, as well as partners from Plastic Arts, Music and Scenic Arts, have achieves to reactivate the natural monument as a touristic area, without physically intervening, but through illumination, music and performance.

"Valle de Santiago is a city rich with mysticism and its geological formation, since it has a series of volcanoes, which are curiously aligned as a constellation, "Big Dipper", hence, there are several legends and mystic events that make the city unique", pointed the young entrepreneur.

After several efforts, the now graduate proposed the work in diverse forums, one of them was the Iberoamerican Biennial of design and illumination, where 173 projects participated, made by 80 offices of 14 countries. This gave a space for "El resplandor de Alberta" which is already included in the biennial's book made by Iluminet among the best 45 projects.

The other recognition came from the World-Wide Biennial of Interior Design & Landscape, organized by societies of world recognized recognition. This convention awarded the project with an honorific mention, so now a plaque is exposed at the National Museum of Architecture next to other select projects.

The young designer assured that both recognitions are one of the largest rewards to the effort and work developed next to his peers. Nevertheless, he assured that they're still working to take this initiative to other spaces inside and outside the country, so he assured that we will have more news from him, soon.
