From training to the use of data bases from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), the identification of supports for the interested in starting a business, to business opportunities though technology and technological parks, are some of the topics that the 160 students of the degree in Agribusiness look at when they attend the forum.

Coming from Aguascalientes, Benito Arciniega Castro, Sub-Director of Economic Studies and Products from INEGI, gave the workshop "use of data in microbusiness", where he explained which are the most productive, the most profitable and the most viable to start. He helped them differentiate if they are looking for more productive functions for profit, or in function of low budget required to start the business.

"The future entrepreneurs must know the main characteristics of the information to learn how to use it as a tool for business", explained the representative from INEGI, referring to the economic census report that there are more than 5,200,000 businesses in general, but of those, only 95% are microbusinesses that make a large contribution of employment, since they generate 4 out 10 employments in Mexico.

Since the purpose of the event is to develop entrepreneur skills in the students, they invited experts in diverse branches such as flower culture, restaurant industry and quality certifications, leaderships, which was complemented with a panel of graduates, who made some recommendations to update the education program.

Dr. Martín Picón Núñez, Academic Secretary of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, inaugurated the Forum of Agribusiness, and exhorted the students to conjugate the motivation with knowledge, the constancy, criteria and above all, honesty, to succeed in the projects they start.

From every 100 new businesses, after a year, only 7 remain, because the rest don't consider management schemes, hence the importance to college students capable of starting businesses with viability and solidity, pointed at the same time, the Director of the Department of Agronomy, Dr. Armando Rucoba García, who welcomed the participants.
