Guanajuato, Gto., November 23, 2016.- "Recover the certain, transform uncertainty". This is the motto that opened the Seventh National Encounter of Tutoring, an event where students, professors, responsible of educational programs and interested from all the country participate in topics of tutoring in high and higher education.

Organized by the National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions (ANUIES) and the University of Guanajuato (UG), the Seventh National Encounter of Tutoring is held from November 22 to 25 at the Magnus spaces of Campus Guanajuato.

In it, they seek to discuss the policies and institutional impact strategies aimed for the attention and formation of the students, parting from valuing progress, good practice, results and innovating trends in the tutoring work.

Talks, expos, workshops and book presentations the event has, cover themed axis of interest for the students and professors, such as: 1. The educational models and tutoring reality in the institutional practice; 2. Processes and results of the evaluation and its articulation with the institutional improvement; 3. Tutoring as a formative action of professors and students; and 4. Trends and innovative practices for the comprehensive attention of the student.

UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, welcomed all the attendants, to who he invited to update in the topics and strategies of education and get involved and commit in society's problems through the values and tools that distinguish the University.

On his part, the Secretary of Innovation, Science and Higher Education, Dr. Arturo Lara López, called to revalue the figure of tutors and strengthen the communication with the students, with the objective to discover the talent of each one and guide him to the common good.

To the event also attended the President of the Internal Organizer Committee of the event and the Director of Academic Affairs, M.A. Francisco Javier Pérez Arredondo; the Executive Gral. Secretary of ANUIES, M.A. Jaime Valls Esponda; the Technical Secretary of the Center-West Region, Dr. Bertha Yolanda Quintero Maciel, representing the General Rector of the University of Guadalajara and President of the Council of the Region, M.A. Itzcóatl Tonatiuh Bravo Padilla; and the Rector of the unit Azcapotzalco of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Dr. Romualdo López Zárate.

Likewise, there was the presence of university authorities, the Director of the High School College, representatives of ANUIES Center-West Region, members of the National Academic Committee, professors and special guests of national universities.
