Salamanca, Gto. November 28, 2016.- Professors from the Division of Engineering at the University of Guanajuato (UG) and the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) work together to strengthen research lines in different branches of optics, whose work were presented in the workshops of integration of themed networks.

The Collaboration Network emerged in 2015 parting from a summon from the Program for the Professional Teacher Development (PRODEP) gathering in three times, integrating conferences to display the research work between students and professors from the area of engineering, besides sharing research projects and collaboration among members of the participant academic bodies.

The academic bodies who collaborate in the network are: Photonics and Telecommunications from UANL, Electronics and Applied Optics from UG's venue Yuriria, and Optoelectronics from UG's venue Salamanca.

Some of the members of the academic bodies share research lines, hence, they work together with the proven project by PRODEP, strengthening their projects, as well as obtaining equipment and material for the laboratories.

The participants in this session were Dr. Marco Bianchetti with the topic: Development of magnetic field sensors through optic fibers covered with metallic materials. Dr. Horacio Rostro González intervened with the conference "Bio-inspired systems" and Dr. Alonso Corona with the presentation of "Applications of Microwaves in Telecommunications and Sensing."

Dr. Ruth Mata Chávez presented the topic "Optic fiber sensors and devices"; M.A. Jesús Pablo Lauterio spoke about the Generation of Super-continuous parting from noise pulses and pulse obtainment of high energy lasers in optic fibers.

Other collaborators were Dr. Juan Manuel Sierra with optic fiber lasers and their applications as sources to detect polluting gases, Dr. Julián Moisés Estudillo with Applications of the Super-continuous light sources implemented in the Optoelectronics Laboratory at DICIS and Dr. María Susana Ávila, who showed the Design of Interactive Applications in touch tables.

The encounter of academic bodies awakens great interest in the upcoming students to make their thesis, since it generates an orientation for them.
