Celaya, Gto., November 30, 2016.- The State Government and the College of Psychologists of Celaya gave an award as "Distinguished collegiate professional" to Wendy Vázquez Infante, professor at the University of Guanajuato (UG), for her outstanding exercise and defense in the collegiate life.
Lic. Vázquez Infante, partial-time professor at the Division of Health Sciences and Engineering at Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, has worked for four years at UG and has a large professional experience. About her teaching practice, she said: "I always try for my students to form ethically, that their activities are done with pleasure and not by obligation."
As a professor of Psychopathology, she pointed out that her students offer their personal time by showing affection to their similar, be that with hug therapy, motivating phrases or flowers, either in public places, foster houses or asylums, since "it is necessary that the student comprehends how easy it is to modify someone's behavior when we want to and hug therapy causes positive psychological effects."
On the received distinction, professor Vázquez Infante sustained that "this recognition represents an even greater responsibility with my students, with the institution, with the college; it gives me the challenge to continue preparing myself to be a better professional and it means a gratifying experience in my trajectory as a teacher, because there is no greater joy than being able to transmit my knowledge to the students."
