
Guanajuato, Gto., November 30, 2016.- With the objective to encourage the culture and knowledge of quality methodologies to children between 6 and 14 years of age, students from the University of Guanajuato (UG), they went to the elementary school Ignacio Allende, to make the project called "Quality Kids".
This initiative is developed by students of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), which seeks through workshops and ludic dynamics, to increase the interest of the participants in matter of Quality and Productivity, Quality of Life and Environment.
The student branch ASQ UG, is a society for people interested in learning and using quality tools and concepts, a place where teachers, graduates and students gather to share experiences and knowledge with the objective to help other to continuously improve.
Elena Wahn Valdés, participating student in the project, explained that participating in Quality Kids is an incredible experience where they can learn a lot from the children, who every day remind them about nobility, love and enthusiasm that can have in life, which exhorts them to fulfill their personal and professional goals.
In a first stage, they made activities so the children had a trusty ambience, so then they could offer brief explanations on the project and doing of the degrees in Quality Management and Productivity, Touristic Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
As part of this initiative, the students carried on several activities such as drawing, games and writing where the children could develop and learn, working as a team.
