
Guanajuato, Gto., December 10, 2016.- With the purpose to strengthen the comprehensive development of its students that contributes to form leaders who generate vanguard knowledge, but engaged with their immediate ambience, the student of the seventh semester of the degree in Systems of Administrative Information of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA) of Campus Guanajuato, Ricardo Mirón Torres, makes a research stay at the École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) at Montreal, Canada, as part of the international research project "Knowledge Management and Innovation in Public Sector Organizations", in the area of innovation and incubation of technological developments and startups.
The project develops under the scientific supervision of Dr. Vahé Nerguizian, professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the ÉTS. The school is part of the Université du Quebec, specialized in teaching and research of applied engineering and technological transfer. This University has approximately 25% of all the student enrollment in engineering at Quebec Province", which puts it in the first rank of establishments that offers this level of formation and places among the largest five schools or faculties of engineering of Canada.
Ricardo Mirón Torres has participated in diverse entrepreneur projects such as the hackathons, summons about technology: Guanajuato Techno park, 11th contest of creativity and innovation UG, 6th pageant of entrepreneurs FESE – ANUIES, ViveConciencia, among others, and in the 6th Contest of DCEA-Create-Innovate, where he obtained the first place with the project "Bring Me In!", as well as the first place in the summon "UG's Life Project", also, he has received the award of the university merit three times.
Through a solid formation of its students and the institutional collaboration, the University of Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment to contribute to the progress of society, to the generation and application of new knowledge, such as the most important educational project of the state.
The educational program of the major in Systems of Administrative Information is offered at the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences of Campus Guanajuato and seeks to form professionals in technologies and systems of administrative information, capable of developing and implementing integral computing solutions in organizations, supported by a sound preparation in technology areas of information as well as administrative.
