Guanajuato, Gto., December 15, 2016. The University of Guanajuato (UG) places at the vanguard in the use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) applied in education when they offered their first Massive Online Open Course, "Development of skills and aptitudes towards self-learning", without any cost and aimed for all audiences.

The course is offered by the Department of Education by Distance of UG, through "Académica", an interactive platform hosted by Telmex which gathers contents from prestigious educational institutions that seek to make knowledge accessible to who wishes to learn and develop their potential.

The University of Guanajuato has visualized the importance of using technology to bring knowledge to a larger audience, hence, they designed a course oriented for the participants to obtain tools to learn autonomously.

The objective of this program is to develop skills that encourage self-learning to apply it in any ambience of life, considering as reference the processes that influence the acquiring and application of new knowledge. The course lasts four weeks, where they will address the topics: Process of attention, Memorizing process, Language process and Thinking process.

Subscriptions are open from January 2nd 2017, date where the course begins, and concludes on January 29th. At the end of the sessions, they'll receive a record of participation.
