
Irapuato, Gto., January 19, 2017.- Mothers and children of the community El Copal, participated in several social activities hosted by Group Mexico in co-participation with Campus Irapuato-Salamanca of the University of Guanajuato (UG).
This university campus, has presence with the Division of Life Sciences, which has become a point of reference at El Copal and its facilities at Ex-Hacienda San José de El Copal, received the guests who were part of the activities prepared for them.
Jesús Alejandro Navarro Fernández of Group Mexico and Claudia Galván Vázquez of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, received a group of mothers who received a Zumba class in charge of "Familias Unidas por Guanajuato A.C."
After the physical activation, in the patio, the children were invited to watch the movie "Ziggy's present", a character created by Tom Wilson. Ziggy is small, bold and has many animal companions: Fuzz, a small white dog; Sid, a cat afraid of mice; Josh, a discouraging parrot; Goldie, a fish and a duck called Wack.
As part of its business social action program, the group has the commitment to create actions in the communities where they are present. Being owners of the surrounding freeway with land at the venue Irapuato of UG, the radius of social action covers local groups of interest.
This initiative seeks to encourage actions with positive influence in the habitants, such as health and culture, with the promotion of physical activity, or generate a collective learning through the seventh art.
In both tasks the university venue joined through the Unit of Cultural Management and Encouragement, for being oriented to the population they live with every day and other times have been asked to participate in artistic or cultural programs, as well as courses of English and computing for children.
