artistas-presentan-exposiciones-en-la-ugGuanajuato, Gto., a 25 de enero de 2017.- As part of the artistic and cultural activities organized by the Direction of Cultural Extension of the University of Guanajuato (UG), next Thursday, three expos at UG galleries will be inaugurated.

Like so, at the artistic corridor Tomás Chávez Morado, the expo "Automatismos" is inaugurated; ceramic sculpture of the artist Oliver Martínez Hernández. In his work, the artist seeks to reconstruct the identity of the people taken by the urban environment of Mexico City; return them their history, their present and leave unnecessary things aside.

These sculptures seek to generate a process of introspection to stop for a moment and change the focus of reality. Stop looking, to observe and understand as individuals, to rescue the identity that mustn't be lost under no human condition.

Another expo that is inaugurated at the gallery Jesús Gallardo is "Libertad decision e intención estética", painting from the master José Escalera where the artist invites us to appreciate the form to synthetize his immediate environment and the experience in culture. Through different materials, the author shows us his taste for color and form portrayed in his work.

Equally, at the Gallery "El Atrio" is presented the work "Sueño y Lucidez" engraving and drawing by Miguel Ángel Mireles, emerging artists of the University of Guanajuato. This expo shows, through drawing and engraving, the auto reference portrait, using everyday photos that belong to the watchful state linked with dreamlike elements represented sometimes in a grotesque and twisted manner. Traditional techniques of engraving and drawing as carbons, graphite, collage and watered down are used by the artist.

These expos are inaugurated at the university halls on Thursday January 26 at 18:00hrs and will be exhibited until February 20 of the year in course.
