Guanajuato, Gto., January 26, 2017.- As part of the artistic and cultural activities organized by the Direction of Cultural Extension of the University of Guanajuato (UG), three expos were presented in the university galleries.

In the artistic corridor "Tomás Chávez Morado" was presented the exposition "Automatismos" sculpture in ceramic of the artists Oliver Martínez. This collection has six sculptures, two paintings and some sketches of the process of artistic creation. "Sculpture allowed me to know that introspection, because at the time I model, I find myself memories of my own life" commented the author.

Besides, the artist made an invitation to the public in general to know this characters and question the own personality of this figures.

The gallery Jesús Gallardo was a place to present the work "Libertad, decisión e intención estética" painting of the master José Escalera. "Actually, my inspiration is the ambience of my environment, accentuating what is around me."

Escalera began being part of the University of Guanajuato at 11 years old and for this expo he invited all the public to observe his work created parting from different materials and his taste for color and form.

In the same way, at the gallery "El Atrio" was inaugurated the work "Sueño y Lucidez" engraving and drawing of Miguel Ángel Mireles, student of Visual Arts of UG. "My exposition covers dreams and thoughts that I later try to reinterpret, including other peoples' dreams". This expo has ten metal engravings and two graphite drawings, watercolors and mixed techniques.

Finally, the author gave a message to the students where he invites all the young to know the traditional techniques and achieve innovating productions from them.
