León, Gto., January 31, 2017.- After two years of effort, students of the Master in Medical Sciences received the record that accredits them as graduates of this program; to the event attended ten out of the fourteen students of the Class 2015-2017.

Silvia Aurora Trejo Bahena, graduate of such program, commented the importance of continue preparing and develop research projects with professionals in different health areas to positively impact society. "It is a great responsibility that we must take on and the projects we generate must have a greater reach", she commented.

On her part, Dr. Daniela Beatriz Muñoz, scholar ascribed to the Department of Nursery and Nutrition, emphasized in the multidisciplinary work that is held in the program since it allows, from different perspectives, make a research to improve the quality of life of the society. It is worth to mention that Dr. Daniela was a thesis advisor for two of the graduates and one of them focuses in the evaluation of factors that affect the quality of life of the elder.

Dr. Tonatiuh García Campos, Director of the Division of Health Sciences, issued a message for the graduates where he expressed his satisfaction for the proven commitment by the students, to whom he motivated to answer society with responsibility.

To the event attended Dr. Maciste Habacuc Macías Cervantes, Director of the Department of Medical Sciences; Dr. María Luisa Lazo de la Vega, Coordinator of the Master in Medical Sciences; Dr. Graciela Barbosa Sabanero and Dr. Victoriano Pérez Vázquez, godfathers of the generation.
