Guanajuato, Gto., February 1, 2017.- "Music is for me the union of the world", said the guest director of the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Guanajuato (OSUG), Nicolás Kapustiansky.
The young Argentinian director will make his international debut with OSUG in the concert to be held next Friday February 3rd in Teatro Juárez, place where the musicians will interpret a valuable and diverse repertoire that includes works from composers of different times and styles.
At first, the orchestra will play "Luces", a work of the Argentinian composer Claudio Alsuyet, then the "Concert for guitar and small orchestra" of the Brazilian Heitor Villalobos, to then close with the "Cycle towards Beethoven" of whom they'll play "Symphony No.4".
On the matter, Nicolás Kapustiansky, said "in this concert what will make the union will be variety. The first two authors are Latin American, we'll have several styles: the play "Luces" is ten years old, meaning, we can listen something contemporary. After Villalobos' work was written in 1952 and to finish Beethoven's Symphony made in 1806. With this panorama, the attendants would hear a concert with three different plays that have diverse musical proposals."
Is the first time that Kapustiansky visits Mexico and makes his debut with an international orchestra, so he expressed his emotion and satisfaction by doing so with OSUG, "a professional orchestra which is engaged and demands and asks its director to make everything in harmony. It has been a wonderful experience."
